Advice and Counseling
Several factors affect the cost of, and demand for, a work of art, among them the artist’s trajectory, the grants and prizes he or she has received, the authors that have discussed their work, the value critics place on them, the places where their work has been exhibited, the expectations about their future development, and so on. Of course, the physical aspect of a work, the technique with which it was made and its format also impinge on its value.
There are two main types of art consumers: the sporadic buyer and the collector. The first one is the person who wants to have original pieces for his or her aesthetic pleasure, and the second is an avid consumer of art. The staff at Galería Casa Lamm is well equipped to advise both kinds of consumers.
