The term was used salad days for the first time in the fifteenth century when Shakespeare wrote the script of Antony and Cleopatra. It refers to the period of youth where attitudes and notions like innocence, inexperience and uncertainty come together. Salad Days part of an initiative to support ten emerging artists from Mexico City to exhibit in an institutional space.
Today the artists face today is characterized as a stage where they coexist phenomena of new technologies and the individual's relationship with the artistic process. The artists who have been selected working from different visual approaches, ranging from photography to installation. The exhibits intend to give a vision of contemporary artistic thought in emerging circles.
